Okay, I lied. I've actually been thinking about Christmas since last Christmas. That's when I decided that Santa would bring my son a play kitchen this year. And where there is a play kitchen, there are many opportunities to sew kitchen accessories.

Featuring "Hat" (as he's called in our house, not to be confused with "Hat" more commonly known as The Man with the Yellow Hat).

This is Meg of Sew Liberated's Child's Montessori Apron. The pattern is a freebie available in her sidebar and was a breeze to stitch up. I think it turned up darn cute too.

Officially licensed characters are not generally encouraged in our house, but classic storybook characters get a pass.
